Minimum wage ban bill advances

Four Iowa counties are one step closer to having their minimum wage hikes declared null and void.  A senate subcommittee Monday advanced the measure that would also keep Iowa's minimum wage at $7.25 an hour.  The minimum wage provision would affect workers in Linn, Johnson, Polk and Wapello counties, as they have passed minimum wage hikes.  A full Senate committee must pass the measure before it heads to the Senate floor.
