Parents who have a child with autism could get help thanks to a new insurance requirement. The house Wednesday unanimously passed the measure that covers a therapy called Applied Behavior Analysis for autistic children. Workers who are employed by a company with more than 50 employees would have that behavior treatment covered. That's because the bill mandates insurance company coverage and it now heads to the senate.
